ABOUT ME
I am a Caribbean female, 5'3" in height and 120lbs. I began my existence
on planet earth on February 24th, 1975. I was born to two wonderful
persons, for whom I will always give God thanks. I am the third child of a
close-net family of eight; three sisters and two brothers. I always felt and
still feel today, that my siblings were the best gifts my parents ever give
me. I cannot imagine what life would have been like with out them.
I was raised with strong Christian principles/values and as a result,
accepted Jesus as my Lord and saviour at a tender age. My life has not
always been what it should be in him, but he continues to love me
unconditionally. Through his love and mercies I am able to get back up and
move on.
Though I am still single, I have been blessed with two lovely boys, who I
love dearly.
I am athletic, and very much into fitness. My favourite fitness activity is
running.
My are Running, Computer/Technology Art/Craft Decorating,
Dress Making/Design, Listening to Music, Singing, Dancing and Making
New Friends.
I am a pretty quiet person, but can be outgoing when I have to. When I
am around people I know well and feel comfortable with, I'm not that
quiet after all.
I like being free to be who I am without fear of being judge or feeling like I
have to adjust myself to suit someone else. I hate being in the company of
people who discourage me about something I think is important, because
they don't see it as being important.

RUNNING/TRACK & FIELD/FITNESS
As a fitness conscious person, my love for running has lead me to become
involved in Track & Field as well as Cross Country running competitions.
Even though I suppressed my dream of becoming a Track Star in my
childhood days, I received a second chance at making this dream a reality
at the age of twenty-six. I started by trying out a two mile cross country
race series at a local college. This race series was held in the fall of 2001,
and comprised of five races. Much to my surprise, I became the 20-29
women's division champion and also placed second overall in the women's
division. It was a very exciting series, so I decided to do it again the
following year. This time I grabbed the women's overall
championship and has maintained the title ever since. As a result of this
accomplishment, I was recruited as a middle-distance runner on the
College's Track & Field Team.
My primary events are the 800M & 1500M, which I have contested in
local as well as regional competitions. In May 2004, I made my 3000M
debut at the Whitsuntide Games, a Caribbean Region Olympic qualifying
meet and had the honors of competing with one of the Caribbean's best
female distance runners - Janil Williams of Antigua.
My Track & Field goal is to win my country a gold medal at a major
athletic competition.

DRESS MAKING & DESIGN
Dress making is a talent I inherited from my mom, who, like her mother and
sisters, is an excellent seamstress. I experiment with my own designs, and
make my own patterns. I make dresses, gowns, skirts, shorts, blouses,
jackets & other tops, boy's shirts & vest coats, clothing for little children.
Not forgetting matching accessories such as hair decorations, arm bands,
purses, scarfs, bow ties. I also enjoy embroidery, different types of art &
crafts, making house hold dressings such as curtains, cushions, runners, etc.
You name it...if it has to do with fabric, needle and thread, that's my thing.
